Obituary of Christine Jackson

CHRISTINE JACKSON, age 83 of Bethpage, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011at Westmoreland Care and Rehab. Graveside services for Christine Jackson were conducted Wednesday, October 26, at 12 noon from the Jackson Cemetery in the Bransford Community in Sumner County, TN with Elder Guthrie Thompson officiating, Interment followed. Serving as Pallbearers were Rex Troutt, Scotty Tillman, Richard Thompson, Stevie Veach, William McCaperan, and Cody Lowery. Christine was born in Sumner County, Tennessee on March 1, 1928 to the late John and Lassie Shrum Grizzle. She was married to the love of her life James Thomas Jackson. They shared their lives together and raised three sons; James preceded her in death in 1980. Christine was a stay at home mom, who enjoyed the simple life. She enjoyed sitting back and watching television. Christine was saved as a young girl and soon after became a member of Buffalo Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Christine is survived by; Sons, James Ferrell (Patty) Jackson of Lafayette, TN, Winfred (Helen) Jackson of Bethpage, TN, Roger (Gina) Jackson of Red Boiling Springs, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, also survive.
