Obituary of Randy D. Hix

RANDY D. HIX - age 43 of Westmoreland, TN passed away early Monday morning, December 5, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services for Randy D. Hix were conducted Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 1 p.m. with Brother James Blankenship officiating. Interment followed in the Highland Cemetery. Randy was born on January 13, 1968 in Smith County, Tennessee to Glennon Olene Wix Hix and the late Doyle Henry Hix. He was one of seven siblings born to this union. Besides his Father; Brother, Frankie Hix and Nephew Clinton D. Wix, also preceded him in death. Randy leaves behind a daughter and a grandson. He worked in construction for several years and had recently started his own business "Mama's Handy Man". Randy was always willing to give a helping hand, when it was needed. He was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church. Randy will be missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. Randy is survived by, Mother, Olene Wix of Westmoreland, Daughter, Savannah Hix, Grandson, Hunter Hix both of Indianapolis, IN, Sisters, Lisa (Andy) Bright of Greencastle, IN, Annette Hix and Ricky Eden, Tandra (Randall) Hauskins all of Lafayette, and Joy Hauskins of the Wixtown Community, Brother, Shannon (Melissa) Hix of Red Boiling Springs, several nieces and nephews, also survive.
