Obituary of Constance Marie Copp

MS.CONSTANCE MARIE COPP - age 82 of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012 at Westmoreland Care and Rehab. A Memorial Service for Ms. Constance Marie Copp was conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Constance was born on May 18, 1929 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Cornelius and Dorothy Nelson Murphy. Constance was married as a young woman, and she had four children, who were the joy of her life. She later was married to Harlan Copp, who preceded her in death. Her family brought great meaning to her life, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Constance worked as a bookkeeper for a small business for several years, as a young woman. She was also a past member of the Eastern Star. Growing flowers and making beautiful flower arrangements was a great past time to Constance. She had another talent, which was crocheting. Constance taught her great-granddaughter how to crochet, thus passing the talent down. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother that will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Constance is survived by; Sons, Richard and wife Marvee White of Grange, GA, and Paul and wife Ann White of Hebron, NH, Daughters, Debra Frame of Laconia, NH, and Susan Poulson of Westmoreland, TN, Grandchildren, Marica White, Robbie Frame, Heather Harris, Brittney Clement, Elizabeth Sharp, and Catherine Forrest, twelve great grandchildren, also survive.
