Obituary of Maudean Linville Jenkins

Maudean Linville Jenkins was born on July 5, 1926 in Macon County, Tennessee to the late Robert Clifford "R. C." and Lucille Bradley Linville. She was one of three daughters born to this family. She entered into vast and boundless eternity July 20, 2012 at the age of 86 years and 15 days. Maudean was married to Billie Rhea Jenkins on April 5, 1958. She was a nurse at Baptist Hospital for over 40 years, three years at Allen County Memorial, and three years at Smith-Chitwood Hospital in Lafayette. In her spare time, Maudean loved to read, cook, and be the care-taker for everyone. Maudean was saved on July 26, 1936 and joined Rocky Mound Missionary Baptist Church and attended as long as health permitted. She leaves to mourn her passing a devoted husband, Billie Rhea Jenkins of Nashville, sons, Ronald and Diane Reed of Mt. Washington, KY and Anthony and Janice Jenkins of Nashville, TN, sisters, Hortense Overton of Westmoreland, TN and Earline and husband Wilburn Trammel of Gallatin, TN, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Lucille Bradley Linville, a good step-mother, Maggie Napier Linville, Grandparents, Sam and Ida Trammel Linville, and Henry and Docia Tucker Bradley. Her family and friends will miss her more than words can describe, but our loss is Heaven's gain. The family wishes to send a special thank you with appreciation to Darlene Watts for her help and special care during Maudean's illness. Funeral Services for Maudeen Linville Jenkins were conducted on Monday, July 23 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mound Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Frankie Kirby and Elder Bruce Dawson officiating.
