Obituary of Reba Ray Stevens

Reba Claudine Ray was born on July 4, 1957 in Trousdale County, Tennessee to the late Paul Winfred Ray and Dovie Irene Moore. She was the youngest of ten siblings born to this family. She was previously married to Phillip Mandrell and has one daughter, Amy. On December 31, 1986, she was married to Georgie Wilson Stevens sharing twenty-four years together; he preceded her in death on April 26, 2010. Besides her husband and parents; six brothers, Pauley Lee Ray, her twin brother, Charlie Lee Ray, Billy Wayne Ray, Glenn Garrett Ray, Roy Neil Ray, and Lonnie Gale Ray, and one sister, Mary Earlene Ray also preceded her in death. Reba was saved at the age of eight, in June 1966, at a tent revival preached by her father, Paul Ray. She was a member of Brattontown Missionary Baptist Church. Reba loved her family. Her daughter, son-in-law, and all of grandkids were her pride and joy. Reba enjoyed spending the day at the beach, whenever she could. Most of all, she loved listening to music, country and old rock. When it came to country music, Conway Twitty was her Idol. On July 22, 2012, the Lord called Reba home and she is now listening to beautiful music. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Reba is survived by; daughter and son-in-law, Amy (George) Ridenour, and brother, Ronnie Ray all of Lafayette, TN, sister and brother-in-law, Olyne (Chester) Wrinkle of Hartsville, TN, sister-in-law, Betty Ray of Dixon Springs, TN, and Sharon Ray of Lafayette, TN, grandchildren, Haley Nicole Wilson, Christian Elijah Wilson, Leslie Joy Ridenour, and Daniel Matthan Ridenour, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
