Obituary of Bernon Huffines

Bernon Huffines was born on August 31, 1942 in Jackson County, Tennessee to the late Hazel Huffines and Lena Draper Huffines. He was one of eight siblings born to this family. Besides his parents; brothers, Vernon Huffines, and sister, Zelema Draper also preceded Bernon in death. He was preciously married and has one daughter, Patti. Bernon worked as a self-employed electrician most of his life. He loved to watch NASCAR on television, Bernon was an avid fan. On Saturday morning, September 15, 2012, the Lord called Bernon home. Bernon will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by, Daughter, Patti Hackney, Sisters, Thelma Franklin and Robbie Gregory both of Lafayette, TN, Merlene Mosley of Lebanon, TN, Brothers, Don Huffines, Ralph Huffines, and Grandchildren, Bennie Hackney III, and Ethan Hackney. Graveside services for Bernon Huffines were conducted Sunday, at 1pm from the Draper Cemetery with Brother Oneal Huffines officiating, Interment followed. Richard Huffines, Bobby Huffines, Caleb Huffines, Bobby Jones, Johnny Farley, John Paul Winfree, and Josh Winfree served as Pallbearers. Alexander Funeral Home, Directors, in charge of arrangements.
