Obituary of Matthew Aaron Draper

Matthew Aaron Draper was born in Gallatin, Tennessee on May 23, 1983 to J.R. Sanders and the late Mary Agnes Draper Sanders. Besides his Biological Mother, Mary Agnes Sanders; Mother, Panize Lois Sanders, and Sister, Vicky Ann Draper also preceded Matthew in death. Working on cars was what Matthew enjoyed doing the most. He played baseball as a young man for Macon County High and loved to take time out to go fishing. Matthew was big hearted and would help anyone he could that was in need. He never married or had children, but his family and especially the nieces and nephews meant everything to Matthew. On Tuesday, January 1, 2012 at age 29, Matthew passed away suddenly, doing what he enjoyed most, helping others. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services for Matthew Draper were conducted Saturday at 1 pm from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Gammon officiating. Interment followed in the Drury Cemetery. Matthew is survived by; Father, J. R. Sanders of the Green Grove Community in Macon County, TN, Sisters, Marie (Kerry) Young of the Green Grove Community in Macon County, TN, Sheila (Tony) Gammons of the Coleytown Community in Macon County, TN, Susan (Mike) Gregory of Nashville, TN, Brothers, J. R.(Connie) Sanders, Jr. of Lafayette, TN, Robert Sanders of the Green Grove Community in Macon County, TN, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
