Obituary of Gail Flynn

Linda Gail Flynn, better known as Gail, was born in Macon County, Tennessee on September 22, 1950 to Mae Driver Doss and the late J.T. Doss. She was one of three siblings born to this union. Besides her father; one infant brother, Jerry Doss, also preceded Gail in death. Gail was married to the love of her life, Wayne Flynn on December 23, 1967. They shared forty-five wonderful years together. Gail and Wayne have two children, David and Tammy and four grandchildren that they both love dearly. Gail's life revolved around her family. She stayed at home raising her children and caring for her home. When the grandkids came along, Gail spent all the time she could with them. She was a true grandmother. Gail did work at Central Elementary in the cafeteria for twelve years. Gail enjoyed crocheting and doing needlework when time permitted. She was a person that could steal your heart. Gail loved to talk to people and make friends, and she had made many. She was a member of the Haysville Methodist Church. On Thursday, January 3rd 2013, after battling cancer, the Lord said enough, and called Gail home. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but Gail is now enjoying the sites of Heaven. Funeral services for Gail were conducted Sunday, January 6th at 1:30 from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder G. W. Knight officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park. Gail is survived by; Husband, Wayne Flynn, Son, David (Andrea) Flynn, Daughter, Tammy (Jerry) Driver, Grandchildren, Dalton and Brooklyn Driver, Aidan and Ella Flynn, Mother, Mae Doss all of Lafayette, Tennessee, Sister, Hilda (Bob) Aplin of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
