Obituary of Paul Edward Himes

Paul Edward Himes, was born in Hickman, Tennessee on June 29, 1945 to Elmo Himes and May Webb Himes. He worked as a dry-wall finisher until retiring in 1999. Paul married the love of his life Deborah Lynn Kincaid on March 20, 1981, sharing thirty-two years together. Paul has one son, Scott and two daughters, Michelle and Misty. Besides his parents; two daughters, Cathey Stoever and Vicky Donaldson also preceded him in death. He cherished his family and his life revolved around them. Spending time with his grandchildren, made Paul's day complete. Paul would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. For everyone who knew Paul, he lived his life making everybody laugh. He had the best jokes, sometimes more funny to some people than others. Paul was an avid fisherman and hunter, he enjoyed being out on the boat fishing or in the woods hunting deer. Paul also had a Harley Motorcycle that he took great pride in and loved to ride. On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, he left this Earth for a better place. Paul will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. A Memorial Service for Paul Edward Himes was conducted on Friday, April 19, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Glenn Sanders officiating. Paul is survived by; Wife, Debbie Kincaid Himes of the Wixtown Community in Macon County, TN, Son, Scott Himes of Panama City Beach, FL, Daughters, Clara Michelle Himes of Panama City Beach, FL, and Misty Lee Himes of the Wixtown Community in Macon County, TN, Grandchildren, Jay Pruitt of Columbia, TN, Loryn Donaldson, of Springfield, IL, Josh Stoever of Nashville, TN, Connor Himes and Chase Himes of Johnson City, TN, Ashlynn and Emma Himes of the Wixtown Community in Macon County, TN, Brothers, Bill Himes of California, and Elmer Himes of Nevada also survive.
