Obituary of Janet Mahaley Pedigo

Janet Mahaley Sullivan Pedigo was born in Macon County, Tennessee on October 30, 1944 to the late Leslie Sullivan and Bertha Graves Bronner. She was one of nine siblings born to this union. On June 2, 1962, Janet was married to Bobby Junior Pedigo. They shared twenty-nine happy years together and had two daughters, Pat and Kathy. She was a loving wife and mama and loved doing things with her family. They shared many things together form camping, to wood work in his shop and just sitting and being together. At the age of 49, Bobby preceded her in death on May 16, 1992. Besides Bobby and her Parents; Brother, Raymond Sullivan and sister, Clara C. Sullivan, also preceded Janet in death. Janet worked in the garment industry at Sports Wear for several years. She was saved as a young girl, and became a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. Janet loved studying her Bible and learning about God's word. She loved gospel music and going to singings, especially the Primitive Quartet. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Janet would spend many weekends playing card games with her brothers and sisters. She enjoyed traveling and riding on country roads or just sitting on her back porch watching the birds. On May 4, 2013, Janet took her final trip to her new home. Janet is now enjoying the beauties and joy of a country of which she had read. Funeral Services for Janet Pedigo were held on Tuesday May 7, 2013 at 11am from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Jackie Stagner officiating. Timmy Sullivan, Eddie Sullivan, Patrick Sullivan, Jimmy Pedigo, Chris Trent, and Cody Clark served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Pirtle Cemetery. Janet is survived by; Daughters, Pat (Ricky) Roark, and Kathy (Jeff) Jenkins all of Lafayette, TN, Brothers, W.A. Sullivan, Edward (Addie Lee) Sullivan, and Howell (Doris) Sullivan, Sister in Law, June Sullivan all of Westmoreland, TN, Sisters, Jewell Pedigo, Janie Trent, and Lillie (Jackie) Smith all of Lafayette, TN, Grandchildren, Natasha (Kyle) Deering, J.J. Jenkins all of Lafayette, TN, and Denisha (David) Presley of Red Boiling Springs, TN.
