Obituary of Joey Dewayne Russell

Joey Dewayne Russell, age 45 of Lafayette, TN passed away Monday afternoon, May 6, 2013 at Macon County General Hospital after receiving injuries from an automobile accident. A Graveside Service for Joey Dewayne Russell was conducted Friday at 2 pm from the Eulia Cemetery with Brother Ricky Vance officiating. Interment followed. On October 8, 1967, Joey was born to the late Johnny Russell and Linda Ann Scruggs Russell in Macon County. Besides his parents; sister, Andrea Miller, aunts, Brenda Meadors, and Becky Oliver, uncle, Billy Oliver, and grandparents, George and Marie Scruggs, also preceded Joey in death. He enjoyed shooting rifles, fishing, and riding 4-wheelers. Joey is survived by; Son, James Goodman, Sister, Deanne (Marvin) Halsey, Brother, Nathan(Stephanie) Blankenship, nephew, Austin Blankenship, nieces, Kelsey Warrick, Kayla Bumbalough, Fiancé, Leeann Powell, uncle, Goober Meadors, cousins, Brian Oliver, Brad Oliver, Beverly Patterson, Brandi Driver, Terry Wayne Meadors, and Toby Scruggs, Special Friends, Jack (Donna) Blankenship all of Lafayette, and a host of second cousins, also survive.
