Obituary of Robert Allen Billings

Robert Allen Billings, Sr. (Mac) age 76 of Lafayette, TN and formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away May 17, 2013 at Macon County General Hospital. He was born May 06, 1937, to Nelson and Geraldine (Hosler) Billings. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved fishing. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Nelson, Richard, Marion (Floyd) and Darrell, sisters Frances, Geneva, Doris, Betty and son Thomas. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty one years, Marie (Vandyke) Billings and children; Karen Billings, Robert (Lori) Billings, Donna (James) Ausmus, Betty Shuman, Timothy Billings, Kevin Billings, Dawn (Garrett) Chapman and Karl (Andrea) Billings, Step-children, Elizabeth (Dale) Stuard, Johnny Proffitt, James Proffitt, John Blessing and Christopher Daniels, brother, Eugene (Earlene) Billings, sister, Shirley (Melvin) Seymour and many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Robert Allen Billings, Sr. will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until service time. Should friends desire, memorial tributes may be directed to his family at Alexander Funeral Home.
