Obituary of Dorothy Mai Coker

Dorothy Mai Dyer Coker, was born April 30, 1946, in Macon County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Chester Lee Dyer and Bessie Angeline Ladd Dyer. Mrs. Dorothy was very proud of her work and retired from Western Plastics in 2008 where she was a factory worker supervisor. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her yard and flower bed. But most of all, Dorothy loved spending time with her family. She will always be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Dorothy was a good Christian woman and attended Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church. On May 22, 2013, the Lord called Dorothy home. She will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her, but we realize that she is in much a better place. Besides her parents, 3 brothers, Terry Lee, Charlie Wayne, and Jimmy Lee Dyer, preceded her in death. Funeral Services for Dorothy Mai Dyer Coker were conducted Saturday at 3:30 pm from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Jimmy Case and Don Watts officiating. Interment followed in the Eulia Cemetery.
