Obituary of Gary Roger Prock

Gary Roger Prock was born in Macon County, Tennessee on June 24, 1944 to the late Donnie Idle Prock and Mable Olene Huffines Prock. He was one of two siblings born to this union. As a young boy, Gary was saved during services at Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church. Gary was previously married and had two daughters and one son. He was a loving father, and grandfather. Auto Mechanics was what Gary enjoyed doing and made a career of it. He operator a Mechanic shop here in Lafayette for several years. Gary retired in 209 due to his health. He loved Antique cars, Muscle cars, and Hotrods and Gary's spare time was spent going to car shows. On June 7, 2013 at the age of 68, the Lord called Gary home. Gary will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him Funeral services for Gary Prock were conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 10 from the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Sloan officiating. Mike Prock, Charles Woodcock, Tommy Huffines, Tim Hood, David Kirby, and Nathan Gregory served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Gary is survived by: Daughter, Monica (Tim) Oakley of Gallatin, TN, Son, Kristian (Moneka) Prock of Goodlettsville, TN, Grandchildren, Kendahl Oakley, Zhane Oakley both of Gallatin, TN, and Sister, Betty (Ralph) Gregory of Lafayette, TN.
