Obituary of James W. Reagan

James Walter Reagan was born in Macon County, Tennessee on January 24, 1931 to the late Tuck Reagan and Bonnie White Reagan. He was one of two siblings born to this union. Besides his parents; one daughter, Darinda Reagan also preceded him in death. As a young man, James was married and had three daughters and one son. Later, on November 2, 2002, he married Betty Pitcock Reagan and gained five step-children. James and Betty shared ten years wonderful years together. James was a loving and caring husband, father, and great-grandfather. He worked most of his life for Ford Motor Company, until retiring in 1993. In his spare time, James enjoyed spending the day fishing. James was saved and a member of the Long Creek Missionary Baptist Church. On Sunday, June 23, 2013 the Lord called James home. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him, but our loss is Heavens gain. Funeral services for James Reagan will be conducted Wednesday June 26th at 11 am from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Jeff Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. James is survived by; Wife, Betty Reagan of Lafayette, TN, Daughters, Teresa Gann of Indiana, and Jennifer Reagan of Texas, Son, Bruce Reagan of Indiana, Step-children, Thomas (Pam) Colter, Dennis (Paulette) Colter, and Lisa Sullivan all of Lafayette, TN, Clinton (Diane) Colter of Murfreesboro, TN, and Sandy (Dennis) Joseph of Alabama, Sister, Helen Smith of Florida, and several Step-Grandchildren and Step Great-Grandchildren also survive.
