Obituary of Lois Dee Sullivan

Lois Dee Sullivan was born in Lafayette, Tennessee on April 14, 1938 to the late Thomas Lewis Farley and Minnie Adcock Farley. She was one of eight children born to this union. As a young girl, Lois was saved and joined Fairview Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a member. Lois was married in December of 1953 to A.D. Sullivan, sharing fifty-two years together and raising one daughter, Brenda and a son, Bobby. Lois worked as a seamstress at the blouse factory until she retired in 1998. She loved her family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren. On June 24, 2013, the Lord called Lois to her new home. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but our loss is Heaven's gain. Besides her husband and parents; granddaughters Melissa & Christy Harrison; brothers O.C. Farley, Melvin Farley, Will T. Farley, Roman Farley; sisters Louise Sullivan, Annie B. Knight, and Carol Oliver also preceded Lois in death. Funeral services for Lois Dee Sullivan were conducted Friday, June 28th at 11 am from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Wix and David Spears officiating. Serving as Pallbearers were Jackie Farley, Gary Farley, Eddie Violett, Ralston Farley, Randall Farley, and James Cothron. Interment followed in the Fairview Cemetery. Lois is survived by, Daughter, Brenda (Tony) Harrison, and Son, Bobby (Mickie) Sullivan, and Granddaughter, Susan (Jacob) Knight all of the Green Grove Community in Macon County, TN, Grandson, Perry Farley of Westmoreland, TN, Great-grandsons, Dale Farley, Dalton Farley, Daniel and Dusty Knight, Great-granddaughter, Misty Knight, and several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
