Obituary of William Hubert Irons

William H. Irons, Jr. was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on December 30, 1937 to the late William Hubert Irons, Sr. and Elizabeth Enwright. He was one of four siblings born to this union. As a young man, William married the love of his life Emma Jean Barginer Irons. Together they started a home and had three sons and one daughter. Besides his parents; his sons, Johnny Irons and infant son, James and brother, Bud Irons also preceded William in death. William went into the Navy serving his country from 1956 until 1960. He later served for a time in the National Guard. After returning home he went to work as an Auto Diesel Mechanic and later worked for TVA, until retiring. William was a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a thirty-three year member of the Acacia Masonic Lodge #163, F. & A.M. in Stewart, Florida. On Tuesday, June 25, 2013, William left this world for a better place. He will be truly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. Funeral services for William Hubert Irons will be conducted Friday, June 28th at 2 pm from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. William is survived by, His Loving Wife, Emma Irons of Dixon Springs, TN, Son, Robert Irons of Stuart, FL, Daughter, Pam (Jeffrey) Irons, Sr. of Dixon Springs, TN, Grandson, Jeffrey Allen Irons, Jr. serving in the Army, National Guard, Sister, Jan (Ken) Buck of West Virginia, Brother, Jerry (Marlene) Irons of Utah Alexander Funeral Home, Directors, in charge of arrangements.
