Obituary of Cordelia Frye Storey

Cordelia Frye Storey was born in Macon County, Tennessee on April 6, 1921 to the late Coleman Frye and Lena Whittemore Frye. She was one of ten siblings. Besides her parents; husband, Cordell Story, grandson, Michael Story, son-in-law, Robert Wood, brothers, Loyd Frye, Jack Barber, Raymond Frye, and Alfred Barber, sisters, Annie Ruth Allen, Louise Brown, and Ruby Jones also preceded Cordelia in death. Cordelia has two children, Betty Sue and Bill. She was previously married to Cordell Story. She was dedicated to her friends and family. Cordelia loved flowers and watching the garden grow. She loved the time spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Cordelia was saved and a member of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. On July 19th, Cordelia went to her new home and is now basking in the beauties of Heaven. Cordelia will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. Funeral services for Cordelia Storey were be conducted Monday at 12 noon from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Gray and Elizabeth Overstreet officiating. Interment followed in the Green Grove Cemetery. Cordelia is survived by; Daughter, Betty Sue Wood, Son, Bill (Linda) Story all of Murfreesboro, TN, Step-Children, Kevin Story and Phillip Story, Brother, Ray Dean (Melba Sue) Barber, Sister, Bonnie Huffines all of Lafayette, TN, Grandchildren, Mark (Dani) Wood, Madonna (Mike) Wazniak, Jackie (Pat) Cook, Kim (Harrell) Bullard, and Sherry Hepburn, Great-Grandchildren, Michael Cook, Chris (Christy) Cook, Savannah Bullar, Anna Claire Bullar, Syndle Cannon, Jacob Robert Wood, Michael Wozniak, Shane Wozniak, Morgan Wozniak, Dustin Hepburn, and Alec Hepburn, Great-Great-Grandchildren, Blake Cook and Jhett Cook, and Niece, Janice Barber.
