Obituary of James Trenton Brooks

James Trenton Brooks was born in Lafayette, Tennessee on December 4, 1938 to Loretta Mae Day Brooks and the late Omer Lee Brooks. James was the only child born to this union. Besides his father; Grandson, Curt Graham and Granddaughter-in-law, Donna Tucker also preceded James in death. As a young man, James was married on February 18, 1956, to Hester Irene Blankenship and together they raised 5 lovely daughters. James was a farmer all of his life. When time permitted, he would take on side jobs doing Carpenter work in the community to help feed his family. As a young man, he enjoyed softball. He loved spending the time with his girls, coaching their teams every chance that he got. James also enjoyed spending time in the woods or at the edge of the water, hunting and fishing. He was a wonderful father and grandfather that cared deeply about his family. Most importantly, James was saved as a young boy and he united with Days Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a member. On August 6, 2013, the Lord called James to his new home.
