Obituary of Larry Halliburton

Larry "PeeWee" Halliburton was born on October 1, 1954 to the late Ronald Halliburton and Edo Sadler Halliburton Kirby. Besides his parents; a son, Ron Halliburton, and step-father Dennis Kirby also preceded PeeWee in death. On November 11, 1988, PeeWee married the former Martha Ann Cherry. They shared almost twenty-five memorable years together. He was a self-employed farmer, and truly enjoyed his work. When he wasn't farming you could find him hunting, fishing or cheering on the Steelers. PeeWee especially loved spending time with his grandsons riding them around on the 4-wheeler or in the wagon and watching them play sports. He was known for his outgoing personality and he always had a smile on his face. Most importantly, PeeWee was a good Christian man. He enjoyed being at church and singing in a Gospel quartet. At the young age of 9, he made an altar at home under the drip of the house. It was there where the Lord saved his soul. PeeWee then joined Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a member. PeeWee will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. On Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the age of 58 the Lord called PeeWee home. He will certainly be missed by all that knew and loved him. Funeral services for Larry "PeeWee" Halliburton were conducted on Wednesday August 22, 2013 from the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The service was officiated by Bro. Ronnie Harrison and Bro.
