Obituary of Ruby White Meador

MS. RUBY BEA WHITE MEADOR - age 82 of Westmoreland, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Hendersonville Hospital. Funeral Services for Ms. Ruby Bea White Meador were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Floyd Ferguson officiating. Charles Tuck, Lannie Meador, Matthew Dallas, Raymond Skelton, Herman Keith, and Bobby Hauskins served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Mooningham, White, & Robinson Cemetery. Ruby was born on August 3, 1928 in Macon County, Tennessee to Hobson and Annis Hortense White. She was one of five children born to this union. Besides her parents; one sister, Helen Brown also preceded her in death. On September 7, 1946, Ruby was married to Louis Henry Meador, sharing sixty-four years together. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for friends and family. Ruby was a faithful member of Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by; Husband, Henry Meador of Lafayette, TN, Sisters, Selma (Charles) Tuck of Hendersonville, TN, Peggy (Bobby) Hauskins of Lafayette, TN, Brother, Herman Douglas (Mary) White of Gallatin, TN, several nieces and a nephew also survive.
