Obituary of Paul Ray Petree

PAUL RAY PETREE - age 34 of Lafayette, Tennessee and formerly of Gorman, Texas passed away suddenly, Thursday, July 14, 2011. Funeral services for Paul Ray Petree were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Aaron Petree, Chad Rogers, Ronnie Joe Easton, Daniel Carr, Corey Jenkins, Darrell Jenkins, and David Regian served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Haysville Cemetery. Paul was born on December 14, 1976 in Eastland, Texas to Betty Faye Reagan Petree and the late John Layton Petree. He was one of two sons born to this union. While living in Texas, he enjoyed playing high school football. He has two sons by a previous marriage that still live in Texas. He later moved to Lafayette, Tennessee, where he met and married his wife, Casey Jenkins on March 14, 2009. They share three daughters, and Casey survives. Paul loved being self employed as a welder. He worked long, hard hours so he could provide for his family. Family was very important to him. Paul enjoyed sports. He liked watching NASCAR and football on the weekends. He also enjoyed going fishing with his family and friends. Paul loved his lord and was a Christian. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Paul is survived by; Wife, Casey Jenkins of Lafayette, TN, Sons, Kaiden Erick Petree, and Anthony Bryce Petree both of Texas, Daughters, Brooklyn Nicole Fitzgerald, Jersey Lane Petree, and Caitlyn DeShay Petree all of Lafayette, TN, Mother, Betty Faye Petree, and Brother, Aaron Petree both of Texas, Father-in-law, Bobby Jenkins, and Mother-in-law, Cathy Jenkins both of Lafayette, TN.
