Obituary of Belva D. Cunningham

Belva D. Cunningham, age 96 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 21st at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Bro. James Bell and Bro. Harold Carman officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 – 2:30 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Jacob Cunningham, Jimmy Moore, Kevin Wooten, Dusty Sutton, David Alessio, and Ben Roberts serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Cunningham was born July 18, 1920 in Trousdale County to the late Charles Gregory and Tina Brooks Gregory. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Thomas Lee Cunningham; brothers, Deryus Dee Gregory, Jessie Gregory, and Rudolph “Doc” Gregory; and sister, Purvis “Sis” Jenkins. She is survived by daughter, Betty C. Nolen of Gallatin; son, Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Cunningham (Carrie) of Gallatin; sister, Sarah G. McClard of Lafayette; 4 grandchildren, Jacob Cunningham (Julie), Leigh Vanderwielen (John), Lovada Gail Cunningham, and Angelica Marie Cunningham; 2 great grandchildren, Easton Vandrwielen and Eli Vanderwielen; and several nieces and nephews.
