Obituary of Warren Eugene Brandon

BRANDON, Warren Eugene "Daddy B", age 87 of Mt. Juliet passed away July 28, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert Lee & Mildred Angelica Brandon; brother, Robert Thomas Brandon; and sister, Mary Ruth Cross. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy "Mama Dot" Brandon; children, Debbie Fortune, Warren (Wanda) Brandon, Pam Brandon, Tony Brandon and Beverly (Jim) Austin; grandchildren, Andrew Barfield, Evan Fortune, Collin Fortune, Jaynie Beth Austin, Delaney Brandon and Aaron Brandon; as well as many other close relatives.

Daddy B was born May 4, 1930 in Nashville, TN to the late, Robert Lee and Mildred Angelica Brandon. He was the second of three children and grew up in Murfreesboro, TN. In 1951, he enlisted in the US Army where he served for 2 years. After his military service, he met his wife, Dot Lee and they were married about a year later on March 12, 1955. Daddy B was employed for over 35 years with Ferro Corporation in Nashville, TN. He was involved with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and telling stories of his past. But most of all he enjoyed riding his John Deere mower.

 A time of remembrance with Daddy B's family will be Wednesday, August 2nd from 10am – 12pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Graveside immediately following at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
