Obituary of Betty Jean Lasater

Betty Lasater passed away on October 23, 2017 at age 83.  The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the service.  The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Mike Wamble, is 2 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home.  Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery will follow the service.  Pallbearers:  Seth Landers, Joey Lasater, Zach Summar, Michael Sanford, Ricky Thorne, Dave Smith, Mike Reeder, and Sid Cripps.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Barry Lasater, Brent Lasater, Ben Lasater, Frank Dudley, Cliffodene Everette, Hilda Stevens, Robert and Sylvia Thorne, and Kitty Houston.  The family extends their gratitude to the caring staff of The Gardens at Providence Place in Mt. Juliet.

               Mrs. Lasater was a homemaker and a seamstress, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She had the sweetest, kindest heart, and was a member of the Maple Hill Church of Christ.  She is survived by her children Jenny Lasater, Becky Lasater, and Jeff (Lisa) Lasater; grandchildren Lindsey (Zach) Summar, Joey Lasater, Carroll (Michael) Sanford, great-grandchildren Seth Landers, Ryanna Lasater, Ella Summar, Kate Summar, Anniston Lasater, Harper Sanford, Hudson Sanford, and Ramsay Summar; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by husband Byron “Big Daddy” Lasater, grandson Matt Lasater, parents George and Laura Vantrease Ramsay, and siblings Fred Ramsay, Ernest Ramsay, Mildred Cole, Ellie Lou Gill, Christine Ramsay, and George Louis Ramsay.
