Obituary of Frances Hill Claypool

Frances Hill Claypool, age 72 of Bethpage, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Monday, February 26^th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue).  Interment will follow the service at Rock Bridge Cemetery, with Caleb Butt, Hannah Ladd, Randall Ladd, John Shelby Claypool, Chad Lambert, and Tracy Butt serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Sunday, February 25^th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Monday, February 26^th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.

Mrs. Claypool was born October 14, 1945 in Whitwell, TN to the late William Shelby Hill and Lena Mae Foster Hill.   In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, John Douglas Claypool; son, Brian Trawick; and sisters, Sadira Wright and Louise Kemp.  She is survived by sons, John Douglas Claypool, Jr. (Melissa) of Bethpage; daughters, Shelena Butt (Tracy) of Portland and Velma Claypool Lambert (Chad) of Westmoreland; stepdaughter, Brenda Claypool of Texas; brother, Doug Hill of Gallatin; 4 grandchildren, Hannah Ladd, Caleb Butt, John Shelby Claypool, and Logan Claypool; 3 step-grandchildren, Tracy Truelove, Aaron Truelove, and Carrie Martinez; 2 great grandchildren, Milo Ladd and Finn Ladd; and 4 step-great grandchildren, Dylan Martinez, Dallas Martinez, Devin Martinez, and Bryce Truelove.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
