Obituary of Bobby Lee Jones

Bobby Lee Jones, age 62 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Monday, February 26^th at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Bro. Jackie Wakefield officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, February 25^th from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, February 26^th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with David Jones, Tommy Jones, Steve Dycus, Ricky Story, Thomas Cox, and Glenn Brady serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Jones was born November 22, 1955 in Franklin, KY to the late Thomas Lee Jones and Helen Marie Neely Jones.  He is survived by wife of 41 years, Sandra Dycus Jones; daughter, Kellie Richardson (Kelly) of Gallatin; brother, David Jones (Teresa) of Hartsville; and sisters, Joyce Story (Ricky) of Hartsville, Shelia Cox (Thomas) of Gallatin, and Kim Creasy (Ricky) of Oak Grove.  Mr. Jones was a Missionary Baptist Church Preacher.  He was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church for 40 years.  He coached little league and minor league baseball in Gallatin for many years.  He was a mechanic by trade.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
