Obituary of Janice Duke Dycus

Janice Duke Dycus, age 84 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Monday, February 26^th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Rev. John Penfield officiating.  Interment will follow at Dixon Springs Cemetery, with J. R. Robison, Harold Thompson, Wilson Troutt, Matt Robison, Eli Bumbalough, and John Knight serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Sunday, February 25^th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, February 26^th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Dycus was born December 28, 1933 in Smith County to the late Isham Duke and Mallie Irene Cornwell Duke.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Hugh Warner Dycus; and sister, Ann Cornwell Duke.  She is survived by daughter, Valerie Dycus Bowling (Kenny Stephens, Jr.) of Gallatin and Tracy Dycus Allison (Bill) of Gallatin; son-in-law, Chanc Bowling of Gallatin; 3 grandchildren, Mallory Tant (Aaron), Bryan Allison, and Zack Bowling; and 1 great grandchild, Duke Warner Tant.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
