Obituary of Webb Allen Russell

Webb Allen Russell, age 92 of Madison, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Monday, March 5^th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Bro. G. W. Knight and Bro. Johnny Carver officiating.  Interment will follow at Dixon Springs Cemetery, with Rick Clark, Paul Ballou, Phillip Ballou, Calvin Ellis, and Prentice Oldham serving as pallbearers.  Gary Triplet will serve as an honorary pallbearer.  Visitation will be Sunday, March 4^th from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and Monday, March 5^th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mr. Russell was born March 8, 1925 in Smith County to the late Joseph H. Russell and Bessie Piper Russell.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Gregory Russell; and brother, Eddie Russell.  He is survived by wife, Helen Jones Russell of Madison; son, Billy J. Russell (Connie) of Hendersonville; 1 daughter; brothers, Focian Russell (Cathy) of Sevierville, TN and Clyde Russell (Annetta) of Bethpage; sisters, Kay Davis of Bethpage and Carrie “Nell” Hackett (Homer) of Cookeville; and 3 grandchildren.  Mr. Russell worked for South Central Bell for many years.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
