Obituary of Mary Jane Poindexter

Mary Jane Poindexter, age 93 of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, passed away on April 3^rd, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9^th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Mt. Juliet with Mike Reese and Andy Connelley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Thomas Poindexter, Joshua Poindexter, Ken Kirby, Chris Perkins, Mark Ledford, and Jimmy Wright serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 8^th, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday, April 9^th, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

She is survived by son, Thomas Q. Poindexter; daughter, Nancy Ann Poindexter Kirby; grandsons, Robert Kenneth Kirby and Joshua Quinton Poindexter; granddaughters, Jennifer Ann Kirby Perkins and Kaci Diane Poindexter Stubblefield; great- grandchildren, Kayla Ledford, Nichole Ledford, Regan Perkins, and Elijah Stubblefield. She is preceded in death by husband, Rass EQ Poindexter; parents, Joseph and Anna Brown Gidcomb; brothers, Beale Jones, Frank Jones, and Albert Jones; sisters, Elizabeth Fly, Margaret Wright, and Bertha Graves.
