Obituary of Anthony Wayne Mitchell

Tony Mitchell passed away on April 13, 2018 at age 67.  The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Sunday from 2-7 p.m. and on Monday from noon until the service.  The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home.  Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service.

               Mr. Mitchell was a veteran of the United States Army during Vietnam and was a postal worker for 32 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, and studying Native American history.  He was a proud owner of an ’85 Corvette.  He is survived by children Kelly (Lucien) Cook, Madalyn (Justin) Marek, and Nick Mitchell; grandchildren Trace Cook, Bridges Cook, Chloe Cook, and Grayson Marek; and sister Bernice Blankenship. He is preceded in death by mother Mattie Locke, father Houston Mitchell, and siblings Dean Agee, Frank Bowen, JoAnne Bowen, L.B. Bennett, Robert Earl Bowen, and Sara Bowen.
