Obituary of Sidney J. Ashmore

Mr. Sidney J. Ashmore, age 86, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, at Westmoreland Care and Rehab. Funeral services for Mr. Sidney J. Ashmore are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 11 AM from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Waylon Eddings officiating. Interment will follow in the Eulia Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, from 3 PM until 8 PM, and on Wednesday from 8 AM until service time at 11 AM.

Family is requesting memorial contributions in the form of donations be made towards the Lafayette First Baptist Church.

Seven Great-Granddaughters, Five Great-Grandsons, and Many Nieces and Nephews also survive.
