Obituary of Nancy Ann Burge

Nancy Ann Burge, age 82 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 15^th from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue).  Visitation will be Monday, May 14^th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 15^th at 1:00 p.m. from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Burge was born June 13, 1935 in Old Hickory, TN to the late Max Elbert Chambers and Lessie Amelia Thompson Chambers.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, James B. Burge, Jr; sister, Virginia Tubbs; and brother, Gerald Ray Chambers.  She is survived by daughters, Darlene Lyle of Gallatin and Amy Harris (Ben) of Gallatin; sister, Maxine Burke of Nashville; 3 grandchildren, Jamie Barlow (Matt), Ashley Lyle, and Hollie Alexander (Chris); and 2 great grandchildren, Hunter Barlow and River Barlow.  She was a key punch operator for IBM and a homemaker.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highpoint Hospice, Second Floor, Suite 220, 300 Steam Plant Road, Gallatin, TN.  37066.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
