Obituary of Eva Marie Wesley

Eva Marie Wesley, age 96 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 2^nd at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Rev. Carol Waller officiating.  Visitation will be Friday, June 1^st from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 2^nd from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with grandsons and great grandsons, Tony Wesley, Michael Waller, Kyle Waller, Kyle Wesley, Kaleb Waller, and Jonathan Frank serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Wesley was born November 22, 1921 in Somerset, KY to the late Charles Oakley Godsey and Addie Mae Hall Godsey.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Herman Everett Wesley; son, Randal Wesley; grandson, Jonathan Aaron Waller; and siblings, Willie Godsey, Edna Godby, Elta Blevins, Effie Godsey, Etta Wesley, and Herbert Godsey.  She is survived by daughter, Jeannie Waller of Gallatin; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.  She was a member of Gallatin First Church of the Nazarene.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International, Sumner/East Macon Camp, P.O.
