Obituary of Sheila Ann Clark

Sheila Ann Clark, 67, loving daughter and sister, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 17, 2018 following a brief illness in Nashville, Tennessee.   Born on May 16, 1951 to Clifford and Wanda Clark in Kirksville, Missouri during her lifetime she resided in Kahoka, Missouri, Houston, Texas, Phoenix, Arizona, and Nashville, Tennessee.  

 

Sheila was employed by Gordon’s Jewelry, Houston, Texas for many years as a trusted employee working in their diamond vault.  After moving to Phoenix, Arizona she was employed by Motorola.  Later she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to be near her brother where she was employed by Garden Ridge and later by Evergreen Life Services.

 

Sheila enjoyed watching TV, movies, shopping, spending time with her family, and especially the loving companionship of her little dog Bonnie who preceded her in death by 3 days.

 

In infancy Sheila contracted polio.  In spite of the obstacles this presented she was motivated and lived a full and loving life.

 

Sheila is survived by her mother Wanda Clark Sampson and her brother Will Clark both of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee along with her extended family Ethiopia & Paulos Ketema and their daughters Yididia and Yadial of Antioch, Tennessee and godmother Betty Carlson of Quincy, Illinois.  Sheila resided with the Ketemas who provided loving care for her during the past 2 years.  She was preceded in death by her father Clifford Clark, brother Jeffery Clark, her beloved grandparents Rose Sumpter Sullivan and Harry Sullivan all of Kahoka, Missouri.  Her grandparents Daisy and Herschel Clark of Memphis, Missouri and her step father Henry Sampson of Phoenix, Arizona.  

 

A celebration of Sheila’s life is scheduled for Saturday July 14th, 3pm at Sellars Funeral Home, 2229 N. Mt. Juliet Road., Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The family will receive friends starting at 2pm until the service.
