Obituary of James M. Binion

James M. Binion, age 85 of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away on June 29th, 2018.

 

Mr. Binion enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, riding fourwheelers, and spending time with his “little guys” (the grandchildren and the great – grandchildren).

 

Funeral Services are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, July 1st, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Will McReynolds officiating. Honorary Pastor, Bro. Eltis Brown. Interment will follow in the Leeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 30th from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, July 1st from 1:00 p.m. – service time.

 

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dolores Dedman Binion; daughters, Beverly (Jim) Peterson, Jamie Bradshaw, and Christy (Rick) Bettini; grandchildren, Joshua (Agnese) Malcolm, Lora (Trey) Guess, Tara (Joseph) Williams, Jason (Beth) Bradshaw, Brittany Bettini, Jordan Bettini; great – grandchildren, Kimberly Malcolm, Kyra Guess, Koen Guess, Easton Williams, Cole Williams, Elliana Bettini, and one on the way, Lee Michael Bradshaw; sisters, Beatrice Swann and Deloras Ann Davis.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Wilson and Kate Alice Mofield Binion; son – in – law, Michael Bradshaw; brothers, Thomas Binion, John Binion, and Linder Binion; sister, Eudine Hamblen.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either The American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123) or The American Heart Association (P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692) in honor of Mr. Binion.
