Obituary of David "Dave" Landry
Landry, David Eugene, age 60, of Mt. Juliet passed away after a brief, unexpected illness, on August 1st, 2018.
Born in Keene, New Hampshire, David also lived in Kentucky, Georgia, and Connecticut before settling in Mt Juliet. David graduated from Kimball Union Academy, in New Hampshire, where he was a star soccer goalie. David was a patriot; he served in the United States Coast Guard.
David was a skilled carpenter, renovation expert, and an artist with wood.
David was preceded by his wife, Lori B. Landry. He is survived by his son, Ian B. Landry, of Mt. Juliet; his mother, Elsie M. Landry, of Tampa, FL; sister, Valerie Achorn, and her husband Edward Achorn, of Rehoboth, Massachusetts; sister, Deborah McEdward, of Gainesville, FL; brother-in-law, Larry D. Bryant, of Jeffersontown, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Lawrence Bryant of Robstown, Texas; and three devoted nieces and a nephew.
Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Randy Stoecker officiating. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m.
David was the consummate gentleman, helpful, kind and generous; he was a devoted family man. We have truly lost “a good guy”.
