Obituary of Vida M. Hutchison

Vida M. Hutchison, age 80 of Hendersonville, passed away August 9^th, 2018. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 11^th, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church (3216 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, TN 37075) with Rev. Jeff Dewees officiating. Interment will follow the service at Beech Cemetery with Jeff Garrett, Mack Hunter, Mike Hartman, Bobby Worsham, Buddy Hurt, and Robert McAllister serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue) on Friday, August 10^th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, August 11^th from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Mrs. Hutchison was born on October 28^th, 1937 in Short Mountain, Tennessee to the late Comer and Anna Bell Motley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, James Motley. She is survived by loving husband of 59 years, Robert “Bob” Hutchison; son, Robert “Hutch” Hutchison III; daughters, Melissa Garrett (Jeff) of Hendersonville and Sheila Hunter (Mack) of Clarksville; 7 grandchildren, Shelby Hunter, Josh Hunter, Abbie Garrett, Nick Garrett, Sydney Hutchison, Mackinzie Hutchison, and Cole Hutchison; brothers, Gerald Motley (Brenda) of Short Mountain, Terry Motley (Carol) of Short Mountain, and Robert Edward Motley of Vincennes, Indiana; sisters, Sue Youngblood of Short Mountain ; sister-in-law, Betty Motley of Dyersburg.
