Obituary of William Douglas Meador

William "Willy" Douglas Meador, age 62 of Castalian Springs, passed away Friday, August 10^th, 2018.  A private graveside service for family and invited friends will be at Crestview Memory Gardens, 1623 Hwy 109-N Gallatin, TN  37066.

Mr. Meador was born on January 23^rd, 1956 to the late William K. (Bill) and Betty Meador in Gallatin, Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Nancy Meador Lawhead. He is survived by sister, Martha Meador Smith (Norm) of Castalian Springs; nephews, Mark A. Meador (Tammie) and Eric K. Smith; loving cat, Sofie for 15 years; numerous nieces and nephews also survive, and special friend, Sheila. He attended Union Hill Church of Christ.  Before becoming disabled, Mr. Meador did construction work.  He enjoyed science fiction, nature, animals, and the Olympics.  Memorials may be made to Sumner Spay and Neuter Alliance, 720 Blythe Avenue, Gallatin, TN  37066, or The Waters of Gallatin, LLC, 555 E.
