Obituary of Bobby W. Taylor

Bobby W. Taylor, age 77 of Gallatin, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 15^th at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin Avenue, with Pastor Mark Grubb and Pastor George Austin officiating.  Masonic Service to follow the Funeral Service.  Visitation will be Saturday, September 15^th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to GracePoint Church in Gallatin, Children’s Ministry, 524 W. Main Street, Gallatin, TN  37066 or Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center, 110 Conn Terrace, Lexington, KY  40508.  

Mr. Taylor was born August 18, 1941 in Camden, TN to the late Willie Virgil Taylor and Sadie Mildred Smith Taylor.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Don Taylor and Billy Reed Taylor; and sister, Janice Taylor Wimberly Wade.  He is survived by wife of 44 years, Margaret Smith Taylor of Gallatin; daughters, Tina Darlene Merryman of Virginia Beach, VA, Jennifer Graham (Jason) of Gallatin, and Allison Kirk Franke (Mark) of Powder Springs, GA; 5 grandchildren, Sarah Oldham, Jackson Graham, Jillian Graham, Madeline Franke, and Loren Franke; 1 great grandchild, Lucas Oldham; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Bobby retired from Local 455 as a Boilermaker.
