Obituary of Berry Virginia Fields
Berry Virginia Fields, age 80, of Castalian Springs, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 29th at 6:00 p.m. at Old Union Church of Christ, 2505 Hartsville Pike, Castalian Springs, TN 37031, with Bro. Darrell Duncan, Bro. Stephen Russell, and Bro. Ronnie Tennant officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, September 29th at the church from 4:30 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later date at Lancaster (a family cemetery in Gray, GA). Family will be serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Church of Christ Disaster Relief Fund or to the Second Harvest Food Bank are requested.
Mrs. Fields was born September 29, 1937 to the late Green Berry (GB) Moore, Jr. and Margaret Louise Grinstead Moore. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Donald Jackson Moore. She is survived by husband, Roscoe William Fields, Sr.; sons, Roscoe William “Rusty” Fields, Jr. (Cindy) of Knoxville and Duston Doyle “Dusty” Fields (Barbara) of LaVergne; daughters, Angela “Angel” McKee (Donnie) of LaVergne and Debra Manning (Harold [“Kenny”]) of Castalian Springs; brother, Green Berry “Butch” Moore III (Tasi) of Milledgeville, GA; 9 grandchildren, Travis Fields (Melinda), Grant Fields (Kristin), Billy Fields (Becca), Stephanie L. Fields, Bryan Fields (Jackie), Dooner McKee (Emily), Lauren Silveira (Carlos), Melissa Swafford (Aaron), and Natalie Manning; 2 step-grandchildren, Brandi Bridwell (Chris) and Fawna Jackson (Chris); 13 great grandchildren, Gabe Rinderle, Jonah Rinderle, Aden Rinderle, Paisley Fields, Sawyer Fields, Maddyx Fields, Rachel Fields, Abigail Berry Fields, Anastasia Fields, Dustynn Fields, Nolan McKee, Maeven McKee, and Sidian Silveira; 11 step-great grandchildren, Fallon McKee, Christian Jackson, Megan Murray, Rachel Murray, Lily Murray, Dakota Bridwell, Zac Bridwell, Kathy Bridwell, Katelynn Swafford, Drew Swafford, and Johnny Swafford; best friend, Phyllis Tooley; and beloved caregiver, Charlotte Keen.
