Obituary of Robert Watson

Robert Watson, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 10th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin Avenue, with Bro. David Gregory officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 10th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.  Entombment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with Mike White, Tony White, Roger White, Ricky Davenport, Eugene Davenport, and Joe Christian serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are Dean Gann, Ronald Gann, Eugene “Bud” Watson, David Hoskins, Stuart Gann, Steve Gann, Troy Gann, Joe Devers, Joe Presley, Terry Cox, Steve Cox, and Tommy White.  Memorials may be made to Hendersonville Missionary Baptist Church, 212 Rockland Road, Hendersonville, TN  37075.

Mr. Watson was born February 14, 1944 in Bethpage, to the late George Young Watson and Minnie Finn Watson.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Betty Burrow and Gloria Watson.  He is survived by wife of 52 years, Brinda Gann Watson of Gallatin; brother, Eugene “Bud” Watson (Linda) of Gallatin; sisters, Mary Adcock of Westmoreland and Bobbie White of Gallatin; and several nieces and nephews.  Robert worked for Cresent Manufacturing for over 20 years; he then worked for the City of Gallatin Sanitation Department, The Gallatin Cemetery, and HATS.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
