Lois W. Weatherford, age 86 of Gallatin, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018. Funeral Service will be Friday, November 2nd at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin Avenue, with Rev. John Penfield officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 1st from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, November 2nd from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Beau Troutt, Nathan Varble, Michael Weatherford, Dustin Weatherford, Zach Weatherford, and Austin Nelson serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Weatherford was born December 13, 1931 in Sumner County, to the late James Wright and Anna Marie Ligon Wright. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Roy W. Weatherford, Jr.; and brother, William Ligon Wright. She is survived by sons, Roy “Sonny” Weatherford, III (Tammy) of Bethpage and Ronnie Weatherford of Gallatin; daughters, Cheryl Collins (Bob) of Gallatin and Dana Oldham (Bobby) of Gallatin; brother, John Wayne Wright (Virginia) of Bethpage; sisters, Betty Garrott of Gallatin and Lucille Ward of Bradenton, FL; 8 grandchildren, Alicia Beth Varble (Nathan), Michael Weatherford (Kelsey), Dustin Weatherford (Geni), Jaime Weatherford Troutt (Beau), Zach Weatherford, Jodi Weatherford, Jessica Oldham, and Kelly Oldham Nelson (Austin); and 9 great grandchildren, Collin Varble, Landon Varble, Lawson Varble, Hannah Varble, Jemma Weatherford, Gunner Weatherford.
