Obituary of Wilma Cook

Wilma Cook, age 88 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Monday, November 19^th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin Avenue, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, November 18^th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, November 19^th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens. 

Mrs. Cook was born January 13, 1930 in Clay County, TN to the late William Lee Cox and Mamie Davis Cox.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Hoyt Cook; son, Charles “Cookie” Cook; daughters, Dottie Lynn Cook and Judy Garland Cook; and brothers, James A. Cox, Glen Cox, Donald Cox, and Morris Cox.  She is survived by children, Patricia Brummett (David) of Springfield, Barbara Casteel (Ray) of Gallatin, Brenda Underwood (Jeff) of Gallatin, John Cook (Patricia) of Gallatin, Cathy Whitaker (Mitchell) of Gallatin, and Lisa Cook (Mark Brummett) of Gallatin; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
