Obituary of Ronald W. Wyers

Ronald W. Wyers, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ, 744 Hartsville Pike, Gallatin, TN  37066, with Bro. Doyle Farris officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday, December 1st from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home, 100 Albert Gallatin Avenue, and Sunday, December 2nd from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ.  Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  Honorary Pallbearers are the members of International Boilermakers Union Local 455.

Mr. Wyers was born November 2, 1944 in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late James W. Wyers and Willie Lou Goodwin Wyers.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Deanna Crump Wyers; and brothers, Sammy Wyers and Grady Wyers.  He is survived by wife of 15 years, Brenda Lee Wyers of Gallatin; son, Matthew Wyers (Crystal) of Gallatin; daughter, Rhonda Pursley (Gregg) of Gallatin; step-daughter, Gina Lee of Tampa, FL; 5 grandchildren, Rachel Pursley, Austin Pursley, Anna Pursley, Michael Wyers, and Elizabeth Wyers; 3 step-grandchildren, Lacey Sadler, Christopher Johnson, and Robert Lee; and 8 step-great grandchildren.  Mr. Wyers retired from Thompson and Green Caterpillar Dealer in Smyrna.  He later retired from the International Boilermakers Union Local 455 after many years of service.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
