Obituary of Harold Wayne Apple

Harold Wayne Apple, age 86 of Bethpage, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor Duane Garner and Bro. Walt Warren officiating.  Visitation will be Friday, December 14th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 15th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment, with military honors, will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Pastor Greg Dunagan officiating and Tracy Jent, Adam Harris, Jason Harris, Scott Jenkins, Henry Rambharos, Aref Al-Tamimi, Nader Al-Tamimi, and Abdel Al-Tamimi serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Apple was born May 29, 1932 in Sumner County to the late Arlie Wayne Apple and Rena Mae Hurt Apple.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Mary Louise Huntsman Apple; daughter, Julie Ann Apple; and brother, James Franklin Apple.  He is survived by daughter, Sherry Al-Tamimi (Aref) of Calhoun, GA; granddaughter, raised as a daughter, Alicia Beasley (Bobby) of Bethpage; 3 grandchildren, Samira Al Hafi, Abdel Al-Tamimi (Ashley), and Mona Rambharos (Henry); and 6 great grandchildren, Dylan Beasley, Ethan Beasley, Lexie Beasley, Gabe Al Hafi, Ava Al-Tamimi, and Alex Al-Tamimi. 

Mr. Apple served our country in the United States Navy.  He retired from Garrott Brothers after 40 years of service.   Mr. Apple was a Deacon at Grace Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for Jr. Boys and adult men.  He was a blood donor, donating 88 pints of blood.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
