The Begarly family and Gentry family have a long and happy history of friendship. My dad and Donald had a contest every year about who could grow the hottest peppers. My parents provided Anne and her children transportation to church for services. Personally, I thankfully remember and appreciate Anne for the care she helped to give to my mother when she was so sick. Anne attended classes at MTSU three days a week, and sat with my mother on the other two. Many times she prepared our dinner before she went home. Then, when I started college at MTSU where she was a student, she was my encourager and mentor. When I faced any difficulty in college, she helped me work myself toward the solution. Her advice was always welcomed and more often than not, accurate. She will be missed.
