Obituary of Tony Gaines

Tony Gaines, age 61 of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 7^th, 2019. Tony was born on 12/7/57 in Charleston, South Carolina to Jim and Billie Gaines. He retired from YRC after 30+ years of service. Mr. Gaines was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by loving wife of 40 years, Vicki Gaines; children, Christy (Garrick) Gaines Odom and Grant (Laura) Gaines; grandchildren, Gaines Odom, Will Odom, Ella Jo Odom, and Ava Gaines; brother, Rusty Gaines; nieces, Jackie Sizemore and Erica Sizemore Moreira.

            The Celebration of Life Service, conducted by Pastor Jacob Armstrong, will be held Saturday, January 12^th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 12^th from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

            In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Providence United Methodist Church: 2293 S. Rutland Road, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122.
