Obituary of Kenneth Dan Gammon, Sr.

Kenneth Dan Gammon, Sr., age 65 of Franklin, KY, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Friday, February 1st from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 2nd from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.

Mr. Gammon was born April 25, 1953 in Beach Grove, Indiana to the late Odell Franklin Gammon and Gladys Mai McCullough Gammon.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, James “Pete” Gammon and Robbie Gammon; and brother-in-law, Floyd Birdwell.  He is survived by wife of 45 years, Debbie Gammon of Franklin, KY; son, Kenny Gammon of Hendersonville; daughters, Susan Harmon of Franklin, KY and Kathy Vandersloot (Doug) of Sierra Vista, AZ; mother-in-law, Mary Ruth McDougal Hay of Portland; brother, William “Bubba” Gammon (Carolyn) of Portland; sisters, Virginia Brown (Doug) of Portland, Shirley Taylor (Cliff) of Gallatin, Ruth Lee (Frank) of Hartsville, Belinda Birdwell of Portland, and Rita McCulley (Tim) of Gallatin; sister-in-law, Linda Gammon of Portland; 8 grandchildren, Peyton, Josh, Isabella, Alexandra, Charlie, William, Timothy, and Hampton; and 2 great grandchildren, Dexter and Miya.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
