Obituary of Barbara Kay Freeman

Barbara Kay Freeman, age 58 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 6^th at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Chaplin Tom Henry officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5^th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 6^th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will follow the service at Gallatin Cemetery, with family serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Barbara was born February 21, 1960 in Gallatin to the late Delbert William Freeman and Ruth B. Cox Freeman.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Earline Dorris, Shirley Pesnell, and Brenda Perry; and brother, Elmer Freeman.  She is survived by sons, Gary Freeman of Gallatin and Larry Staten (Christina) of Portland; daughters, Misty Staten of Gallatin and Bridget Wright (Darren) of Gallatin; brothers, Wayne Freeman of Hendersonville and Elvis Freeman of Hendersonville; sisters, Juanita Browner (Charles) of Portland and Ann Hoskins (Billy) of Castalian Springs; and 6 grandchildren, Kayla Freeman, James Freeman, Kayleigh Stewart, Cayden Law, Brock Winfree, and Drake Wright.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
